I Know What It Feels Like to Feel Lost in Your Own Recovery

Two brain injuries. Years of piecing it together. Now I help others do it faster — and with a whole lot more clarity and hope.

My Recovery Became My Calling

My brain injury story didn’t start with one dramatic moment. It started with a fall, then another injury before I’d fully healed from the first, then another. Each one compounded.

There were years of symptoms doctors couldn’t fully explain, appointments that left me more confused than when I arrived, and the quiet grief of watching my life shrink. If you’ve been through it, you know: it’s not just the headaches and the brain fog. It’s the identity loss. The “but you look fine.” The wondering if you’ll ever feel like yourself again.

What I had going for me — even when I didn’t know it — was an instinctive drive to understand what was happening inside my brain and nervous system. I studied. I experimented. I learned to read my own signals. And slowly, I found a path forward that wasn’t just about managing symptoms — it was about rebuilding my life.

That path became The Resilient Mind Method.

What I Bring to Our Work Together

I’m not just someone who’s been through it. I’ve spent years learning the science behind why the brain and nervous system respond the way they do after injury — and how to work with them rather than against them.

My training and credentials:

I also work directly alongside occupational therapists, neurologists, and concussion specialists — so I understand how to complement your clinical care, not replace it.

The Resilient Mind Method — Built From the Inside Out

The RBR framework is the backbone of everything I do with clients. It’s not a one-size-fits-all program — it’s a map for where you are right now.

Regulate — Build a nervous system foundation. Learn to identify your personal stress signals and create a gauge system so you can catch yourself before you crash.

Balance — Develop flexibility. Learn to move intentionally between states of activation and rest — addressing both the anxious, wired days and the foggy, crashed-out ones.

Restore — Rewire and rebuild. Identity integration, life design, and making sure your recovery serves your life — rather than your life revolving around your recovery.

You Might Be Ready to Work Together If…

I work with adults recovering from concussion, mTBI, and post-concussion syndrome — virtually, via Google Meet, so wherever you are in the world.

One More Thing

My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of how I live and work. It’s not something I push on clients — people of all backgrounds work with me — but it shapes how I approach hardship, hope, and healing. If your own faith is part of your recovery, you’ll find that welcome here.
